What does the CastCooler™ sell for?: The CastCooler™ sells for $24.99 plus $4.75 shipping and handling (total $29.74) for shipment to the 50 US States.
How does CastCooler™ work?: CastCooler creates a gentle vacuum on the outside of your cast, bringing fresh air between your skin and the cast. Air flow is directed through the lining of your breathable (fiberglass) orthopedic cast removing moisture and cooling your skin. Without touching your skin, bacteria, itch and odor are significantly reduced. Your cast stays fresh.
How do I know if my cast is "breathable"?: If your cast is fiberglass, it is a breathable cast. Or, if your cast is colored (yellow, blue, red, green, pink, black, etc.), it is breathable.
How often do I use the CastCooler™?: Use the CastCooler as often as you like, it cannot be overused. Whenever your cast is moist, hot, or stinky...use it.
How long do I use the CastCooler™?: Apply to the outside of your cast for about 2-3 minutes for each area you want to dry or cool.
Can I dry & cool my knee, elbow and heel?: Yes! In fact the CastCooler was designed to concentrate drying/cooling effectiveness on those trouble spots. The patented nozzle conforms to both sides of each of these areas.
What is actually happening?: While the CastCooler cools and freshens your limb, what you are feeling is the effect of the moisture being removed from the lining of your cast. The evaporation has a cooling affect which is what you feel.

Do I need a special vacuum?: The CastCooler may be used with a common household vacuum hose attachment.
Does the CastCooler™ work with my waterproof cast liner?: If you have a washable cast lining (Procel®, Scotchcast™ Wet or Dry, Delta-Dry®, Waterpruf™, etc.) the CastCooler will speed dry your cast after bathing in a fraction of the time of air drying. IF your cast is wet you MUST use a vacuum that can accommodate liquids.
How do I keep the CastCooler™ clean?: Restore original cling properties by keeping the CastCooler free from debris by rinsing in clear water as needed and allowing to air dry.
Will the CastCooler™ fit my child's cast?: The is designed to fit a wide range of casts CastCooler on wrists, arms, legs, etc. If needed, you may trim the excess blue wrap (1" at a time from each end) with scissors for an optimal fit.
